Waving goodbye to August!

August is drawing to a close.........

And the first plots are nearing completion ready for new residents to move in. Plots 1,2 and 3 (bottom left of the picture) will be the first to be completed, and you should see signs of new neighbours by the end of September!

We are starting to prepare for the installation of the paving, driveways and landscaping this week, as well as the connections to the mains Water, Gas and Electricity - these connections waill cause some disruptions to the roads and footpaths but nothing that lasts more than 48hours.

The works requiring the road closure at Independent Street are almost completed now, and the closure to Argyle Street is imminent, this will impact on pedestrian access and vehicle parking, please stick to the designated alternative routes and notify us of any difficulties these may cause and we will do our best to assist you and make the disruption as hassle free as possible.

July Update

 

As you can see, we are making steady progress on site, with plots stripped of scaffolding, and works starting on the front and rear gardens.

As always when we get to this stage, the necessary, but inconvenient works begin to happen.

We have just started on our first piece of highway work that causes an obstruction - Independent Street will be closed from the junction of Clifford Street for two weeks, this will allow us to connect the new sewer pipes into the existing system.

Whist this is in the final stages, we will also be closing Argyle Street to start the formation of the new road that connects it to Clifford Street.

We are aware that these closures can be an inconvenience, and are working very hard to cause as little disruption as possible, however if a closure is going to cause you an inconvenience, please come and speak to the site team, and we will try and help you in any way possible.
